WinSun Engineering Sdn Bhd (WESB) was incorporated on 12 May 2008 with principal activities in research and development of energy saving components, gadgets and lighting luminaire and as a solution provider and system designer for automation systems and automation solutions for a wide range of process and non-process industries such as machinery, metals, power, chemical, semiconductor, automobile, builders, constructions, mining, agriculture, water treatment, home appliances. WESB also involved as a distributor for foreign and local produce and manufactured goods, particularly in energy saving and green products.
 
WESB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinSun Technologies Berhad, a public listed company on MESDAQ market with a total paid-up capital of RM30.0 million.

WinsunTechnologies Bhd (WTB) is a MSC status company and was incorporated on 21 March 2007. WTB is principally engaged as a solution provider and system designer for automation systems and automation solutions for a wide range of process and non-process industries, particularly in the metal, chemical, manufacturing sectors.  Other principal activities of the group are to undertake the Research and Development of the Intelligent Industry Control Management System (IICMS). WTB is presently operating at Suntech Building, a MSC-designated zone in Bayan Baru Penang as its R&D base in Malaysia.

 WTB, has two wholly-owned subsidiaries in China, namely Shanghai WinCo Electrical Co Ltd and Shanghai Winner Electrical Co Ltd, both are principally engaged as a automation and drive solution providers in Eastern China. WTB specialise in the research and development of IICMS (Intelligent Industrial Control Management System) which includes the design of automated and drive control system, intelligent field instrumentation, industrial engineering design, customised software programming, engineering and production

WTB mainly target customers whom required technology upgrades for end-of-life legacy system, by salvaging and transforming those obsolete systems back into useful systems.

Over the years, the Group have built healthy business relationships with its major customers in China with length of patronage ranging from 6 to 14 years. These long term relationships are an indicator of the recognition by its customers for the quality and reliability of its products and services. Among such customers are world renowned names such as Siemens Industrial Automation Ltd, Shanghai Maanshan Iron & Steel Company, BASF Group, Pilkington Limited, Shanghai Heavy Machine Factory, Ningbo Beihun International Terminal, etc.

All components are sourced from big name MNCs such as Siemens, General Electric Corp., Schneider Electrics, Allen-Bradley, Asea Brown Boveri, all of whom are renowned for their commitment to high quality, technology and reliability

As part of its strategic expansion plan for the Asia Pacific region, the Group have successfully listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2008. Over the next two years, WTB will rely on the technological transfer from the wholly owned subsidiaries in China to Malaysia to facilitate the above R & D activities.  The group will also undertake recruitment and training for its R&D personnel in Malaysia to further enhance the existing R&D capability of the group.
